*I found Sweetarts in my desk yesterday when I REALLY needed them. Last year, a colleague/friend and I would both buy giant boxes of Sweetarts and share them after difficult classes. We also ranked students by how they fit with our favorite Sweetart flavors. Orange Sweetarts/students are low on our list.
*The Rocky Horror Glee Show soundtrack. Except the part where they changed "transexual" to "sensational." I get that the two are synonymous, FCC, but I don't think that was your point, and I am not really okay with it. However, this list is about AWESOME, so we will move on now.
*The kid who wrote all of his Kansas Writing sentences around the song "It's Raining Men." You are most definitely a pink Sweetart, kid. Congratulations.
*Books! They are great! I am reading one called The Sparrow right now, and it is sort of ominous and creepy and sad and great.
*iPhone! How did I leave the house without you ever?
*Knitting. Right now I am working on a set of bibs for the Sweetart friend, as she is having a baby in December.
*The book Music--The Book by Andrew Zuckerman. Have I read it yet? Nope. Am I excited for its arrival? Yes. Did I buy it mostly for the beardy pictures of Daniel Johns? Hell yes. Would I always win at Daniel Johns Sex Chicken? Motherfucking yes. Like a screen door in a hurricane, people.
*Arthur/Eames domestic!schmoop! It is pretty much my new favorite thing. Rec me your recs, dearest flist. And yes, I have read all parts of the domestic!verse and most of the huuuuuuge domestic!schmoop meme thing. I am not so into the angsty stuff, but I will read the shit out of Arthur and Eames trying ridiculously hard to hide how in love they are with each other. Also, shorter is better right now, but if an epic fic is particularly in need of my perusal, do let me know.
*NanoWriMo is almost upon us! My nano this year shall be about angst-filled love triangles! Okay, one triangle! Sort of a scalene one, really. I will probably have 50,000 words of crap, but it has a killer soundtrack!
Tell me your happy tales, flist, do.
